CCYR Spinnaker Declaration

Greetings, Competitors:

As an entry that is eligible to sail the Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta under Spinnaker, it is now time to declare your use, or non-use, of your spinnaker at the CCYR, August 11 & 12.

A few things to consider while making your decision:

For the Panerai competition, Awards will be given on a normalized scoring basis of all competing yachts, spinnaker and non-spinnaker. To understand \"normalization\", please refer to item 8.2 at paneraiclassicyachtschallenge.com

For the Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta, there will be two sections within the Classic Wood Division - Spinnaker and Non-Spinnaker. Scores will not be normalized. Those who elect to sail with spinnaker will be vying for \"Spinnaker\"\" trophies. Those who opt to sail without spinnaker will be vying for \"Non-Spinnaker\"\" trophies.

The Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta is requiring that your declaration be made by 8pm Thursday, August 9th. If you neglect to make your declaration, you will automatically be opted into the \"Non-Spinnaker\"\" section.

Your declaration is final.
