Sometimes there's a shift in the wind and we all need to make a few 'tweaks' to ensure that we're optimizing every moment. The Corinthian Classic Yacht Regatta (CCYR) is no different. With a few changes in the 'breeze' over the winter, we found opportunities to 'freshen up' and 'tweak' our own program.

Here's the short of it:

• We're very excited to continue as the first regatta of the season within the new 'Classic Yacht Challenge Series'. (Notice of Series available here >)

• There are new definitions/classifications for DIVISIONS of yachts. Much simpler and paired down. (Notice of Race available here >)

• Any entry may choose to sail with a spinnaker. Those that choose to fly their spinnakers will be sailing to their CRF MKII Spinnaker Rating. CRF MK II

• We'll be utilizing a different scoring system for 2019 – the High-Point Percentage Scoring System. This scoring system will be used to score the CCYR and the other Series events.

Many things are NOT changing:

• Low Entry Fee
• Free Moorings. (First Come, First Serve)
• Great Skippers Bag
• Entertainment every night (Bars n Bands)
• Fantastic Dinner, Saturday evening
